Explanation

This procedure outlines exporting your Bill of Materials to excel.

The Bill of Materials is a count of four different categories of items your project:

1.Equipment - that has its Count in BOM property set to true.

2.TO Connectors - connectors that appear on the TO side.

3.FROM Connectors - connectors that appear on the FROM side.

4.Cable Types - The Cable Type of the cable. The length field is aggregated into a count by type.

Criteria:

•The item's Count in BOM property must be set to true to be counted.

This list is read-only.

Assumptions

•You have created a project.

•You have created at least one drawing.

•You have added at least two item that meets the criteria list above.

•You have added at least one cable.

1.Open the Project.

2.Open the Project Data > Bill of Materials

3.Click File > Export to Excel or click the Export icon [].

4.File will be downloaded to your browser's downloads directory.

5.Done.
