Explanation

This topic outlines the process to automatically number all cables in the drawing that do not have numbers yet.

NOTE: THIS FUNCTION ONLY NUMBERS CABLES IN THE DRAWING THAT DO NOT HAVE CABLE NUMBERS.

The number format is determined by the Signal Type.

The Cable Number Prefix field will be prepended to the Next Number field.

For example let's assume that the Signal Type is AUD and the Cable Number Prefix field data is AUD-.

Further that the Next Number field is 1050.

The next AUD cable (where AUD is the signal type of the FROM port) would receive the number "AUD-1050".

Assumptions

•You have created a project.

•You have created a drawing.

•You have added two functional blocks to the drawing.

•You have added cables to the drawing.

1.Open the drawing.

2.Click Cables > Number Remaining.

3.Done.
