Add/Edit Signal Types

Explanation

This topic outlines the process of editing the project Signal Types grid.

 

The Signal Types grid controls:

Cable Name

Cable stroke color.

Cable stroke width.

Cable manufacturer.

Cable type.

Cable Number Prefix. This is prepended to the Next Cable Number during auto numbering operations.

Next Cable Number. This is appended to the Cable Number Prefix during auto numbering operations.

 

Changes made in this grid will ripple throughout your project.

 

Assumptions

You have created a project.

 

 

Menu

Project Data > Signal Types

 

Steps to Add a Signal Type

1.Open the Project.

2.Project Data > Signal Types.

3.Click the [+] to add a new row to the top of the grid.

4.Enter your data.

5.Click the Save button.

6.Done.

 

Steps to Edit a Signal Type

1. Open the Project.

2. Project Data > Signal Types.

3. Click [Edit] on the signal type you would like to edit.

4. Edit your data.

5. Click the Save button.

6. Done.
